Almost every day Pret and I say to each other, "How did we get something so cute?" Lilly really is almost perfect (not that I'm biased or anything). She is an awesome sleeper, eater, and entertainer. She is patient when we ignore her (and make her play with things like a hanger or a comb), sleeps on long car rides, and makes us laugh all the time.
She goes in for her check-up on her UTI and 6-month shots tomorrow. I am not excited to see her cry again, but know that it will be for her own good. I am excited to see how much she weighs and how much she's grown. I know she sure loves her solids (lots of fruits and veggies) and know that she is nursing more now than she ever has before. If she is still a little smaller than average, it is probably because I am not drinking enough to keep her going (a constant downfall of mine). But I have made it 6 months with nursing (which was my goal), with no thoughts or signs of slowing down any time soon.
Anyway, I think I mentioned in a previous post that I was going to try to do monthly pictures of Lilly. I have been a few days late on a few of the months, but for the most part I have gotten them done. Some are definitely better than others, but it is still really fun. I really don't notice the difference when I advance one month at a time, but when I look at pictures from two months apart (like 1 and then 3, or 2 and then 4) I can really see the growth.
So here are the first 6 months in pictures. In the 6-month, I figured I would change the pose up a little and show-off that she is able to sit up on her own, for the most part. I know it kind of skews the comparison aspect, but she was so cute with it, that I wanted to keep it that way. ENJOY!

| 6 Months She wouldn't leave the bear next to her--she had to have it! And she was sitting up mostly on her own, even though it looks like she was propped up on the couch. |

| 6 Months I finally had to get the camera all ready and have Pret sneak the bear in next to her. It drew her attention to the bear instead of at the camera. :-( |

She sure is a cutie!!!!!!! It's crazy how fast they grow!
I think it's great that you're still nursing!! I gave up at 8 months with Nate and it was the biggest mistake ever! I hate formula and buying it is such a waste! So my goal was to go the whole year with Audrey. Done! Haha!
I wasn't ready for another one till Nate was 18 months. For some reason it terrified me. Not because pregnancy was hard I think I just wasn't ready to handle two because Nate was a little more difficult because he spit up constantly and was really active and got into everything and crawled and walked early. But with Audrey I think I could go through it again definitely, but we don't plan to have anymore. But maybe you'd be ready if one came because she's an easy baby :)
If you would have asked me if I would have done it again right after having Charlotte I would have said yes because of the love I felt at that moment. If you would have asked me at a year, I would have said absolutely! Because she'd filled my life with so much joy. And now at nearly 18 months, I want to shout and hollar YES! YES! YES! because she is my reason for living and the purpose I have in life now. Amazing how something so small can change your life.
That little girl of yours is to die for! She's SSSSOOO cute! And has the most darling expressions! I can't believe she's 6 months already. Man does time fly! :)
P.S. I am just barely thinking I could handle two children. Someone told me that you have to remember that when you invision having more kids, you need to remember they will be different ages and in different stages than they are now. Because even though I would do it again in a heartbeat to have my child, having two scares the hell out of me. It's perfectly normal not to want them immediately.
