Things that Make You Go WOW!

So, at school, our kids are doing projects for the Local/State/National PTA "Reflections" contest/program.  The theme this year is "Wow!"  (Completely as a side-note, because I wasn't thinking about this when I first started this post, but when they did the kick-off assembly, they asked few of the teachers to share their thoughts and as the teacher shared, they were to hold up a poster that said "WOW!"  They asked me, but I ended-up sharing something that makes me say "¡MOM."  It was quite embarrassing, but funny at the same time.)

Anyway, as I was driving to school on Wednesday, I saw two groups of geese, flying.  The first one was really cool because they were in the middle of changing the lead.  Anyway, if I could have stopped to watch, I would have, but alas, I just thought to myself that I wanted to blog about it so I could remember it!  So enjoy these pictures, that were the best samples I could find on Google images, and remember the times that you have stopped to go WOW when you have seen migrating geese or anything else that makes you go WOW.

Pay Attention

We we shown this video at one of our teacher work days.  It is pretty powerful.  I know that many people are against cell phones, and I have my own moments of pro/con opinions, but it does give us something to think about.  Enjoy!

It does have music, which really adds to it.  And although it is a little long, it is worth watching the whole thing.
